In the evening of the second Friday of each month, the MIT Museum offers performances, demonstrations, and lectures throughout its galleries. On May 9, 5-8PM, the Lemelson-MIT Program’s JV InvenTeams will talk about engineering and design as they present their inventions and teach students how to build their own contraptions. The JV InvenTeam initiative is designed to cultivate inventive curiosity and STEM skills in students in Grades 9-10. Admission to the event is free, sponsored by the Lemelson-MIT Program. It takes place at the MIT Museum, 265 Mass. Ave. in Cambridge.
