Nominate an Outstanding K-6 Teacher for a Presidential Teaching Award

The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) are the highest Federally granted honor for excellence in K-12 mathematics and science teaching.  Up to 108 teachers may be honored each year, and each receives a certificate signed by the President, a trip for two to Washington, DC for meetings and award events, and $10,000.  This year, nominations are open for teachers of Grades K-6.  Anyone may nominate a teacher by April 1, and applications from nominated teachers are due May 1.
