Tufts Veterinary Summer Program for High School Students

Tufts University’s School of Veterinary Medicine offers a two-week summer program to introduce high-school students to the veterinary profession.  It’s an intensive program for students with a passion for animals, health, and science.  The residential program, which favors students from outside the Boston area, is for June 28-July 10 for Grades 11-12 or July 19-31 for Grades 10-11.  The day program, which is designed primarily for students in the local area, is August 3-13 for Grades 9-12.  Admission is competitive based on grade transcripts, two letters of evaluation, extracurricular activities, and an essay.
