Discovery Education and 3M sponsor the annual the Young Scientist Challenge for students in Grades 5-8.  To enter, a student creates a one- to two-minute video that describes an everyday problem, the innovative solution that the student has developed, the STEM principles behind it, and its broader implications.  Videos are due by April 22.  Register online ahead of time.
