Engineering Week at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Feb. 17-21

Events

As part of National Engineers Week, the Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites students, parents, and educators to its Engineering Week programs February 17-21, 9AM-4PM daily.  The full schedule (PDF) includes:

  • Engineering demonstrations each day
  • Information sessions and campus tours by admissions staff and student interns (Register in advance.)
  • Student honor society information booths
  • Engineering Ambassador sessions presented by WPI’s “engineering ambassadors” — students selected to engage younger kids and promote the excitement of STEM
  • Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (Register in advance)
  • Engineering professional development for educators:  Making STEM accessible to all students.   Free and open to all educators:  teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, informal educators, and home school parents.  (Register in advance)
  • Engineering Laboratory tours
