Register now for Nitsch Engineering’s 12th Annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day for girls in Grades 6-12, on Thursday, April 25, 9AM-2PM at Northeastern University, John D. O’Bryant African-American Institute Cabral Center, 40 Leon Street, Boston.
In the program, girls will learn how phones work, from circuit boards to cell phones to networks. They’ll deconstruct a telephone and program a phone display. Michele Sequeira, author of Cell Phone Science, will speak. In parallel, adults accompanying each girl will learn about the college admissions process. The program will close with a panel discussion with women engineers.
