“e” Inc. Virtual Fundraiser: Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Apr. 30

“e” inc.’s annual fundraiser, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, will be virtual this year, on April 30, 6:30PM-9PM. It’s designed to raise awareness of environmental issues globally and to inspire activism in the greater Boston area. You can purchase all-access passes now for $25 to view any of nine films:  Vet in the Wild, Shaba, Finding Salmon, It’s Bean Too Hot, Hidden Wild, El Mago Georges, Cormie the Pick Pocket, Community Not on Our Soil, An Alaskan Fight, A Flyfishing Refugee, A Fire for All, and The Bat Woman and Bat Man of India.

Registration Open for “e” Inc. Summer Science Discovery, Ages 6-12

“e” inc. — Boston’s environment science learning and action center — will offer two summer science discovery programs for students in ages 6-12 at the Charlestown Navy Yard (114 16th Street, Room 1030). Each session is limited to 35 students and runs one week, 9AM-3:30PM daily, with after care available until 5:30PM. For more information, call 617-894-3409.

Kids 4 Coding: Weekly Summer Programs In-Person and Virtual

This summer, Kids 4 Coding will offer fun, engaging, and collaborative programs on a weekly basis, both in-person and virtually. A $50 discount is available until March 31.

  • Weekly In-Person Programs will be offered July 11 – August 5 at Roxbury Latin School and the Cambridge Matignon School. Cost per week is $349 for half-day (9AM-Noon or 1PM-4PM) or $649 for full day (9AM-4PM).
  • Virtual Summer Courses with live instructors, one-hour sessions, and small classes (5:1 ratio) will be offered weekly (plus some in two-week courses), June through August in age groups 7-9, 8-9, 9-10, 10-12, 11-13, 12-14, 13-14, and 13-16.

Tech Goes Home: Seeking Director of Development

Tech Goes Home (TGH) is a Boston-based non-profit addressing digital inequities by bringing computers, Internet connectivity, and training  to those without those resources, so students can do homework, adults can find jobs and manage finances, seniors can connect with loved ones, and all can lead healthier lives.  With a $4M+ budget and a staff of 16, TGH now seeks to hire a Director of Development for revenue generation and development strategy and execution.
