Students interested in STEM — or business, or graphic design, or public speaking, or grant writing, or joining a cool student team —  are invited to an introductory, informational meeting for prospective members of the LigerBots, Newton’s award-winning robotics team spanning both NNHS and NSHS.  It will be held Thursday, June 2, 6:30–8:30PM, in the Newton South Wood Shop (Room 9170, by the Auditorium).  All grades, including rising freshmen, are invited, with a special invitation to those interested in outreach/marketing/business.  In this hands-on session, you can drive a robot, use power tools, do engineering challenge games, be part of a new social media campaign, and help students see what makes a top robotics team.
