Acquia will host a 24-hour event, CodeDay, from Noon on November 7 until Noon on November 8, for high-school and college students to collaborate on one-day coding of apps and games,  It’s one of 20 such events nationwide to offer students things to learn and people to meet.  (The focus is not on winning awards or getting jobs, so the organizers do not call it a hackathon.)  Registration is required and costs $20, which covers lunch, dinner, midnight snack, and breakfast.  If you’re staying overnight, bring a sleeping bag.
