Science Club for Girls will host its 20th Anniversary and Catalyst Awards Night with a celebration and silent auction on October 27, 6-8PM at the Newton Marriott. For 20 years, Science Club for Girls has been a non-for-profit pioneer in promoting STEM for girls and diversity in STEM. Its Catalyst Awards recognize “individuals who are strategic, innovative and effective in promoting diversity in science, technology and engineering.” This year’s honorees are:
- Luba Greenwood, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Pronutria
- Dr. Oneeka Williams, Urologic Surgeon at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center Founder and President of Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo
- Carolyn Green, President, CEO, and Director, Atreaon, Inc. and COO of Stealth Peptides, both of Newton.
