The organizers of the Massachusetts STEM Summit have issued a Call for Sessions, inviting interested parties to submit proposals for breakout sessions for the 2014 Summit. Proposals may address any of the Summit’s topical strands: Early Education; K-12 Education; 2 Year Higher Education; 4 Year+ Higher Education; Out-of-School Time; Digital Education; Innovation/Entrepreneurship; Career Awareness & Workforce Development; and Research and Practice. Proposals are due by May 31 and should ideally address one or more of the Goals described in Massachusetts STEM Plan 2.0: Student Interest; Student Achievement; Skilled Educators; Post-Secondary Persistence; and Workforce Alignment. To submit a proposal and for additional guidance, visit Summit 2014 Session Proposal. Proposals will be reviewed by a sub-committee of the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council and the program planning committee, which will announce results by early July.
