The Christa McAuliffe Center at Framingham State University will celebrate NASA’s launch of the James Webb Space Telescope with two events, one virtual and one in person:
- AstroNights LIVE online event: The James Webb Space Telescope — A Giant Leap Forward in Our Quest to Understand the Universe and Our Origins, on September 15 at 7:30PM, for ages 12+. View the presentation on Zoom (registration required) or the Christa McAuliffe YouTube channel. Free.
- In-person event at McAuliffe Center (also livestreamed): The James Webb Space Telescope: We Can See the Beginning, on October 15 at 7PM. Dr. Kathryn Flanagan, Astronomer Emerita at the Space Telescope Science Institute and former Webb mission head, will speak.
