Paleontologists at the Harvard Museum of Natural History will celebrate National Fossil Day (October 22) with four online presentations for young students. Register for each Zoom session with these links:
- 9-9:30AM: Trace fossils and how fossils are prepared and preserved in the lab
- 10:30-11AM: Soft and shell invertebrate fossils, including trilobite
- 12-12:30PM: Some favorite fossils, including ancient reef fossils from the Guadalupe Mountains
- 1:30-2PM: Fossil detective work to learn how ancient animals, including T-Rex, grew and moved
