MIT Women in Chemistry will host its second annual Scientist for a Day! camp for middle-school girls on August 19, 1:00-4:30PM on the MIT campus.  This outreach event will include chemistry demonstrations and hands-on experiments and is open to 30 girls who will be entering Grades 5-8 in the fall. Here’s a post about last year’s event.  While it’s free, a $10 donation is suggested for the cost of materials. Advance registration is required. To register, you must fill in this online form and also mail in original, signed media release and liability release forms to the address on the online-form page.
