Newton’s dual-high-school robotics team, the LigerBots, will compete in two FIRST district qualifying events, both of which are free and open to the public:

• March 12-13:  Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Harrington Auditorium, 100 Institute Road, Worcester  (schedule)
• April 2-3:  Boston University, Agganis Arena, 925 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston (schedule)
