The Boston Area Girls STEM Collaborative will host its 8th annual SET in the City program on April 2, 9AM-5PM, for girls in Grades 9-12. It’s a day of STEM career exploration with presentations, hands-on laboratory activities, and panel discussions. The group starts at Boston University and travels to lunch at Harvard, Emmanuel, Northeastern, Tufts, or Biogen. Breakfast and lunch are included. Pre-registration is required and must be completed by submitting two signed waivers and a registration fee ($20, or $5 if on free-lunch program). There is a limit of 10 participants (first-come/first-served) from each high school, and the registration fee is non-refundable unless registration is denied due to that limit. The Boston Area Girls STEM Collaborative includes Boston University, Emmanuel College, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Science Club for Girls, Simmons College, UMass Boston, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and WGBH.
