High-school students in Grades 10-12 from across New England are invited to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst on Saturday, October 25 for Science Quest, a free day of hands-on science activities, mini-courses, demonstrations, and guided lab tours organized by UMass faculty.  Undergraduate science students will be available for discussion of their experience.  High-school students may attend on their own, or with parent(s), or with a teacher on a class field trip.  To facilitate planning, all attendees should pre-register online with name, email address, and course selections for the day.  The schedule is 9:30AM-3:40PM, but plan to arrive by 9AM to check in.  Free parking, free lunch.  For more information, contact mwestort@research.umass.edu.
