Northeastern Summer STEM Programs

Applications are now available for two summer programs at Northeastern University:

The Young Scholars Program is a highly selective program for Boston-area high-school students who have completed either sophomore or junior year and are interested in careers as scientists or engineers.  The program includes laboratory research, career exploration and counseling, and field trips.  Applications are due March 28 or 30 (the website lists both dates), and the program’s tentative schedule is July 1 to August 1.

Northeastern University Summer STEM Program is a free, two-week, academic day program for Boston-area middle-school students entering 6, 7, or 8 grade.  It is designed to stimulate interest in science and engineering and increase skills in math and science.  Applications are due March 31 but be sure to read instructions first.  Classes, scheduled for July 7-18, are taught by Northeastern graduate students with assistance from undergraduates.
