The New Art Center in Newton is starting a series of classes linking art with science.  The Center needs only a few more young artists/scientists in grades 2-4 for its first STEM-oriented class, Beakers and Brushes, Where Science Meets Art.   Classes run on ten Wednesdays, starting January 8 through March 19, 3:30-4:30PM.  Students will make art while understanding the science behind it — learning why bubbles reflect colors, why noodles dance, how to make letters float, etc.   For more information or to register, visit www.newartcenter.org/art/detail.aspx?id=CV146989&sem=35.
