FIRST Lego League (FLL) is a robotics competition for Grades 4-8 in which teams build and program LEGO robots and complete a project by creating and presenting a solution to a real-life problem related to the year’s FLL themed challenge. The Newton high-school robotics team, the LigerBots, supports local FLL teams through mentoring, promotion, and hosting two regional tournaments each year. On June 17, 7PM-9PM, the LigerBots will hold an information session in the Newton North HS Film Lecture Hall for parents to learn about FLL while interested students participate in fun STEM activities.
