MetroHacks, run by high-school students to host high-school hackathons in the Boston area, will host MetroHacks: Women in Code, a 12-hour girls hackathon on March 24 at the Cambridge Innovation Center. It will feature speakers, workshops, collaborative projects, and prizes. The event is free, and meals will be provided. Girls in Grades 8-12, with or without computer experience, are invited to register. Read about their event last year.
