The Wellesley Education Foundation is sponsoring the Wellesley Science & Technology Expo on April 5 from 10AM to 2PM at Wellesley High School.  It’s a free, community-wide STEM celebration featuring speakers, hands-on activities, workshops, student showcases, and opportunities for students to meet STEM professionals.  See the flyer for the full listing of events.   Register to attend.  The expo is sponsored by Cisco, Patriots Renewable, Intex, Mathworks, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Biogen Idec Foundation.

• Speaker Series:  Climate Reality, Changing Informal Education: From the Museum to the Classroom, Smart Needles and Robotic Docs: The Science (and Fun) of Inventing Medical Devices, Inspiring Women in STEM: A Panel Discussion
• Exhibits:  Visit the Robot Zoo, extract your DNA, build a small hovercraft then ride in a real hovercraft, explore the brain, visit the Mass Hort Plantmobile, design and construct buildings then test them out by simulating earthquakes, watch 3D printing, learn to program, defy gravity, play in the augmented reality sandbox, build your own rocket, and more.
