On Saturday, November 17, eight Newton FIRST Lego League teams will compete in the Newton Qualifier robotics and research tournament at Newton North HS, 9AM to 3PM. Besides the matches (best viewing times:  10AM to 12:30PM), see the project presentations in the “FLL Idol” competition (in the auditorium by the main entrance) and meet the teams in the pit areas (in the cafeteria).  Come cheer on the caBOTs, BEARS 1, BEARS 2, Ligercubs, MegaOHMS 1, MegaOHMS 2, Pause4Effect, and Robonewts as they compete with 26 other teams from Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Lincoln, Melrose, Milton, Natick, Needham, North Andover, Sharon, Somerville, Swampscott, Waltham, Weston, and Westwood. Winners move on to the state level.
