High-school students may sign up now for the UMass Amherst College of Engineering’s Women in Engineering and Computing Career Day for High School Girls on October 28, 8:45AM-1:15PM, at the Lincoln Campus Center in Amherst. The event is designed primarily for girls, and boys are also welcome. Up to 10 students per school may attend. Lunch will be provided. The cost is $20 per student, and a limited number of need-based waivers are available by emailing administrator Promise Mchenga at pmchenga@umass.edu. There is no charge for chaperones, teachers, counselors, and industry exhibitors, but they need to register. Students and adults should register here.
