Scholarships Available for Whitehead Institute’s Expedition:Bio Summer Program

Expedition: Bio is a summer science program offered at the Whitehead Institute (455 Main Street, Cambridge) for students entering Grades 7-8. In each of two two-week sessions (9AM-3PM daily), 24 students will explore methods used in ecology, genetics, chemistry, and bioengineering through hands-on activities, laboratory modules, and discussions with scientists. Sessions will be July 8-19 (already full for paid participants) and August 5-16. Tuition of $1000 includes snack, lunch, field-trip fees, and lab materials. A limited number of full-tuition scholarships are available for both sessions for students with financial need (family income less than $70,000). Register here.
