On October 11, TERC — a non-profit dedicated to improving STEM education — will host STEAMworks, a workshop to help parents and caregivers become STEM mentors for  children in Grades K-5. It will be presented by Moms as Mentors, 6:30-8PM at TERC (2067 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge). The cost is $15 per person (free for families qualifying for free or reduced lunch fees).
