MIT THINK Scholars Program — Applications Due Jan. 1

MIT’s THINK Scholars Program is run by MIT undergraduates to provide support and funding for STEM projects developed by high school students and completed within one semester.  Selected projects will receive:

  • Up to $2000 in funding for materials and equipment
  • Mentorship by an MIT student or professor
  • Networking with industry professionals and academic leaders
  • Experience in conducting a project from start to finish.

Application proposals following the guidelines are due January 1. They should present an insightful idea, clear goals, and a plan for implementation.  Topics for projects may be far-ranging within STEM fields, as demonstrated by previous winners.  Award decisions will be announced on January 9, and projects are expected to be completed by May 31.
