Northeastern’s Summer STEM Program for Under-Served, Under-Represented Middle School Students

NUSSP is Northeastern University’s Summer STEM Program for students entering Grades 6-8.  It aims to promote STEM education and opportunities to historically under-served and under-represented students living within 30 miles of Northeastern.  The program introduces college life, increases STEM knowledge, and stimulates interest in STEM careers.  Students attend the two-week program (July 7-18) on Northeastern’s campus free of charge.  They must have an interest in STEM and at least a B average in science and math.  Students should review sample application questions and write their application essays before applying onlineRecommendations from current math/science teachers are required.
