Come see the FIRST Lego League regional qualifying tournament for the 2011 Food Factor Challenge at Newton North HS this Saturday, November 19, sponsored by the Newton Ligerbots. Thirty-four teams will compete, including 16 from Newton! The robot matches will be 9AM to 12:30PM and 1:10PM to 2:20PM, with the awards ceremony following around 2:30PM. The public is invited to view the matches and the FLL Idol presentations of each team’s research on food safety. If you’ve never been to a FIRST Lego League tournament, they are full of energy and a real blast!
